We believe Primary care ought to be centered around a deep and lasting relationship between a patient and their doctor. We also believe we ought to be able to interact with our patients in a variety of ways, including through email, phone calls, and group visits in addition to the traditional individual face to face visit. We feel we ought to focus equally on prevention and health as well as managing illness, and ought to provide you with 24/7 direct access to our physicians and the latest information technology and educational tools to provide the highest level care possible.

Unfortunately, while most health insurance plans give lip service to many of these concepts, they will not pay for many of these features, which we believe are the right way to serve you. Because we feel so strongly our job is to serve your needs regardless of this fact, we have structured Renaissance Health as a membership, much like a cooperative or a health club. As a member, you can sit on our advisory councils, and help us design a better model of care for everyone. As a member, you become a part of our pilot practice and have a personal care team available to you whenever you need us.

We work with almost all major insurance plans including Medicare to serve as your PCP for referral purposes, and to bill for visits, lab tests, and other ancillary services. We will bill your insurer directly for these services, but as usual, you are responsible for any additional fees such as co-payments according to your agreement with your health plan. If you do not have health insurance, we will charge you for visits and tests according to a reasonable fee schedule which we are happy to share with you up front.
