Our financial models based on the best data available suggest that the A-ICU has the potential to deliver significant first year savings (35%-45% lower levels of total spending for care of the highest risk quintile of enrollees), not even considering any longer term impacts on health status. We are now engaged with a number of progressive health care providers and payers to adapt the AICU model to their particular situations, and to build prototypes to test its effectiveness.
